Starting tomorrow, you and all registered trade visitors, buyers and media representatives will have access to the platform of ITB Berlin NOW at www.itb-now.com. In this initial exploration phase, everyone can browse the event program, make appointments, find contacts and have first chats.

IMPORTANT: From now on, only use the landing page www.itb-now.com to access the ITB Berlin NOW platform and use all functions.

So double check that your brand appearance is convincingly good and get ready for the remaining 3+ weeks until the live event will kick off on 9 March. This newsletter will help you in doing so with:

As Mr Ruetz already says:"ITB Berlin NOW is a tool, not a toy" - Participation requires a little practice BEFORE the live event phase from 9 to 12 March! Ideally you should plan approximately 1 to 2 days to watch tutorials, find yourself around on the platform, setting up your profile and fixing appointments.

But don't worry, we've got you covered and take you literally by the hand to get the best out of your ITB Berlin NOW experience!

The Brand Card is a company's profile at ITB Berlin NOW. In this tutorial we'll provide answers to questions like: How to fill the Brand Card with life? This short tutorial takes us to the Back Office area of ITB Berlin NOW of an exhibitor Brand Card seen by exhibitors who have booked the packages "All-In" or "All-In-Destinations". Find out what statistics you can access, how to evaluate the information and how to export/download the data accordingly.

HOW TO: ADD TEAM MEMBERS

Here is how to:

Once the main contact person that has registered the Brand Card has logged on to the platform via on of the voucher codes, this person is automatically connected to the respective Brand Card.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the person that has been assigned as contact person in the registration does not register via the ticket shop, no other employee will be able to be added to the Brand Card.

Via “My Organization” in the Communication Center on the right side, the Brand Card can be accessed directly and via click on the Back Office icon in the upper area the entire Back Office is available. In the tab “Team” the respective employees can be searched for that shall be added as employee.

Please note that these persons have to be registered at ITB Berlin NOW BEFORE they can be added as employee. Make sure that the networking function is active for each person you would like to add. This can be activated in the Communication Center.

THE DIGITAL STAGE FOR YOUR MESSAGE

Exhibitor presentation

Increase your visibility and present your brand, new products, services or campaigns in a 30-minute live session on ITB Berlin NOW and gain additional visibility in the program area. Save one of the last slots until 26 February 2021. The presentation will be recorded and subsequently available to all platform users as on-demand video until 31 May 2021.

Press conference

As an exhibitor you have the opportunity to organize your own press conference.

These press conferences are primarily aimed at journalists and will be listed in the ITB Berlin NOW event program with your logo and a title of your choice.

Saxony has what it takes: ITB Berlin NOW 2021 turns into a stage

This year, there will be a world premiere in Saxony: the state will be the “Official Culture Destination”. Under the slogan “SAXONY - FEEL THE ART BEAT” the region is advertising its top range of art and cultural experiences in museums, theatres and in exhibitions. From 9 to 12 March the most important meeting point, in addition to Saxony’s Brand Card, will be the digital Culture Café with interviews, videos, music and exciting virtual tours.

Restarting Destinations and Enhancing Resilience

Why must destination development focus on resilience in the future?

Find out on 11 March at 11am in the session: "Destination Recovery and Resilience: Pathway towards a “better normal” by our ITB Future track sponsor mascontour.

This session is followed by the ITB Resilience Roundtable with Jacobs Media & the Resilience Council where thought leaders discuss policies that have been or will be launched and their impact.

eTravel Hospitality Forum on 12 March, 4pm

The already established Hospitality Tech Forum will take place on the last day of ITB Berlin NOW Convention.

With Lea Jordan, CMO and co-founder of Techtalk.Travel, an industry expert moderates exciting panels with international experts on topics such as AI, automation, trust, direct distribution, revenue management and payment. Techtalk.travel also supports the Hospitality Café, where questions from the hotel industry can be asked and answered directly by industry peers.
