Medical Tourism – travelling for medical reasons a booming segment
The Medical Tourism sector, dedicated to health-orientated, medical travel, has become a well-established tourism segment at ITB Berlin in the past years, a unique platform for Medical Tourism which is an important fast-growing market worldwide. The Medical Tourism Pavilion is home for clinics, hospitals, hotels and destinations which provide medical tourism services in this booming market. Buyers and agencies are invited to visit the pavilion, but private visitors also had the chance to receive valuable information and even do check-ups on the ITB weekend.
The Medical Tourism Educational Hub, which is part of the official ITB Convention, invites trade visitors to attend presentations, expert-interviews and panel discussions to find out more about the latest trends and developments of the global Medical tourism market.

The ITB Medical Night is an established first-class networking opportunity for all exhibitors, buyers and media, interested in Medical Tourism that takes place on ITB Friday evening in a relaxed and stylish atmosphere downtown Berlin.
ITB Berlin NOW 2021, a pure digital event, will offer a virtual Medical Tourism Pavilion with a networking café and meeting corners for exhibitors, trade visitors and media. All of them will have the opportunity to join one-on-one meetings, expert interviews, presentations, panel discussions and networking sessions to get access to up-to-date information in Medical Tourism.
